All you need is a circular saw with a diamond tipped blade. Turn on the saw and use only light forward pressure on the sliding table. Even if you are coming back later to cut more marble you still want to make sure to turn the saw off in between jobs. Regular cutting bits can be used for wood but if you need to cut things like thin metal aluminum or tile then you can use a fiberglass cutting bit instead.
