What Does Ruggedly Handsome Mean

As in you are so cuuute.

What does ruggedly handsome mean.

I mean strapping and ruggedly handsome. Cant think of anyone off hand from a movie role its a hard look to pull off but it suits certain people. Ruggedly handsome would be like unkept hair 5 o clock shadow jeans tshirt well built deep voice good looking face etc. Think of a lumberjack or a builder.

I usually say it half joking as an attempt to make a compliment overtly masculine. Definition of ruggedly handsome handsome in a very manly masculine way. Take it as a compliment. Ruggedly like rough and manly around the edges.

So i would imagine a guy that is a real blokey bloke calls a spade a spade isnt afraid to get his hands dirty loves a cold beer short shaven facial hair. Hard core exterior with sexy atributes a kind of lumber jack appeal with scruffy hair. But ruggedly handsome would be appealing for some women liking a boy that is rough and ready.
